| Description |
The product aims to deliver two types of analyses and this is dependent on input data. An impact assessment analyses on assets and population for events where a disaster extent is available and exposure analyses on assets and population in the case of a predicted/modeled event. The analyses are performed based on reference datasets and/or LULC information. The main outputs of this product are general statistical information about assets and population exposed during or affected by an event. The summary statistics are presented in the tabular form. This product may be used in the preparedness and recovery phase of the disaster management cycle. It requires as input data the disaster extent or predicted event extent identified by P04, P05, P06, P07 or P08 product. The product belongs to the Risk and Recovery component, Standard category. |
