Name Advanced Land Observing Satellite (ALOS) World 3D 30m - AW3D30
Note In May 2015, a dataset derived from the Advanced Land Observing Satellite (ALOS) called "ALOS World 3D-30m (AW3D30)", a free 30 meters resolution version of "ALOS World 3D (AW3D)", was released. An area of no-data or low-quality, from 60 degrees north to 60 degrees south, was filled in with version 1.1 released in March 2017 and 2.1 released in April 2018. Version 2.2 released in April 2019 is an improved version of the northern region over 60 degrees north. In this version, along with the complement of no-data or low-quality area, updating of coastline was also performed. Vertical Accuracy: 7m 90% linear error (LE90)

Digital Elevation Model Partially This model has been updated yearly since its release and it covers now the whole globle. Only some small areas above 60°N and 60°S are missing due to clouds, snow and ice. Further updates are planned in order to finish fillling these voids.
