Native name Länderübergreifendes Hochwasserportal
Edmo
Description Cross-border flood portal - A joint initiative of the German federal states The cross-state flood portal is operated jointly by the German federal states. Each participating federal state provides current data from a selection of flood alarm levels and brief information on the current flood situation. Further level data are provided by the Federal Waterways and Shipping Administration (WSV) and the responsible authorities in neighboring countries. From when and to what extent a level is displayed in the flood portal as "level with high water" depends on the specifications of the respective federal state. If a gauge serves two federal states because it is on the border river, the lower threshold value is taken into account.
