| Description |
Providing clear sky conditions for production of Sentinel-3 OLCI Level 2 products is essential to ensure a good and reliable Level 2 product quality for the users. After issues with the cloud screening in the initial processing baseline, a big effort was made by the Sentinel-3 MPC to improve the level 2 cloud flagging algorithms. Since 2017 a new cloud flagging is implemented in the current operational and reprocessed products. |
