| Description |
The product aims to provide an organised map product in ready to print format. The map scale should be defined according to user needs. For cases where many products are added as map content, the map sheet number should be optimised. A map book is a collection of map sheets organised and exported together. It accepts as input any data produced by the Service and arranges it in a cartographic manner with a defined layout, symbology and index information. The product is developed to satisfy the need of the users for map distribution to local communities or for field campaigns where no or limited internet access may be encountered. It may be used in the preparedness and recovery phase of the disaster management cycle. The product belongs to the Risk and Recovery component, Standard category. |
