Name High Resolution Vegetation Phenology and Productivity: Vegetation Indices
Acronym
Description Vegetation phenology is, in its broadest definition, the description of periodic plant life cycle events across the growing seasons. Phenology is related to the productivity and health of ecosystems, and its long-term changes are often used as robust indicators of biodiversity, ecosystem conditions and dynamics as well as impacts of climatic change. Phenology is usually studied based on key parameters, e.g. leaf shooting, flowering, leaf fall, etc. The HR VPP product will comprise various vegetation indices, seasonal trajectories, and phenology and productivity parameters.
