Name	EFFIS Seasonal Forecast
Acronym
Description	The EFFIS Seasonal Forecast provides long-term seasonal forecast of temperature and rainfall anomalies that are expected to prevail over the European and Mediterranean areas during the next seven months. This service started in June 2013. The set of seven months forecast shown will be updated monthly throughout the fire season. The maps highlight the areas that are expected to be colder/warmer and dryer/wetter than normal across Europe and the Mediterranean countries. This is to highlight the potential higher risk of forest fire danger.
