The GHS-OBAT dataset provides a global building-level attribute database, linking individual building footprints to information on construction year, functional use (residential/non-residential), height, shape factor (compactness), area and perimeter. Based on Overture Maps building footprints and enriched with Global Human Settlement Layer (GHSL) datasets, it also includes unique building identifiers, centroid coordinates and country and administrative area information. The dataset covers the year 2020 and is available in CSV and GeoPackage formats, with data organised by country and administrative subdivisions.
