| Description |
A 100 m resolution geospatial raster dataset mapping the distribution of human settlements and their relationship with wildland vegetation across the Italy–France Maritime cooperation area. It classifies the territory into four main categories: anthropic areas, wildland-anthropic interface areas, dispersed anthropic areas, and non-anthropic areas. The classification is based on building density, building footprint coverage, land-cover types, and proximity to large, contiguous forest areas. The dataset supports wildfire exposure assessment, landscape and urban planning, and wildfire prevention strategies. |
