BD FORÊT® is a thematic vector dataset representing the cover and typology of forest areas in France and constitutes the national reference base for the description and management of French forests. It contains information on: the presence or absence of forest cover, vegetation type (broadleaf, coniferous, mixed), forest structure and density, and, in some versions, information on vegetation dynamics.
