Name RPG - French official agricultural parcels database
Description RPG - French official agricultural parcels database (Registre Parcellaire Graphique) is the official database of declared agricultural parcels in France, managed by the IGN in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty (MASA). It is one of the most important datasets for monitoring agriculture, land use, and managing Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) funds. The RPG is a vector dataset that graphically represents all the agricultural areas declared by French farmers each year under the CAP. Each polygon represents a declared agricultural parcel or “îlot,” associated with a main crop type (code crop). The dataset covers all of metropolitan France and overseas.
