Data details

UID 900
Name RGE ALTI - France Digital Terrain Model
Description RGEALTIĀ® is a digital terrain model (DTM) with 1m and 5m resolutions covering most of France. It is designed to describe the terrain elevation (excluding buildings and vegetation/obstacles) at large scales. The main sources are aerial LiDAR surveys (particularly in areas of high interest: coasts, floodplains, forests) or aerial imagery correlations in less dense areas. The dataset has national coverage for metropolitan France and, in part, for the French overseas territories (with some exclusions).
