High- Resolution Digital Terrain Model (DTM) |
| Note |
The High-Resolution Digital Terrain Model (DTM) is a digital model that represents the bare-earth surface of the terrain, with all above-ground features such as buildings and vegetation removed. The DTM is derived by classifying and filtering the LiDAR point cloud to isolate ground returns only, thus providing an accurate representation of the underlying terrain morphology. This model is particularly useful for applications such as hydrological modeling, slope and elevation analysis, and infrastructure planning. |
