Name Global Internal Displacement Database (GIDD)
Note The database aims to provide comprehensive information on internal displacement worldwide. It covers all countries and territories for which Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre (IDMC) has obtained data on situations of internal displacement, and provides data on situations of: 1) Internal displacement associated with conflict and generalized violence (2009-2022); 2) Displacement associated with sudden-onset natural hazard-related disasters (2008-2022). The interactive platform was designed in an effort to make the data and analysis on internal displacement more user-friendly and transparent. The GIDD enables to explore, filter and sort the data to produce graphs and tables which can export in several different formats. The database is available in the following link: https://www.internal-displacement.org/database/displacement-data.
