Note Pan European Phenology 725 (PEP725), the successor of the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) Action 725, is a project funded by the Austrian Zentralanstalt für Meteorologie und Geodynamik (ZAMG), a research institute on topics of weather, climate and geodynamics and the network of European meteorological services (EUMETNET) - with the goal to establish an open access database with plant phenology data sets for science, research and education. So far 20 European meteorological services and 7 partners from different phenological network operators have joined PEP725.
