Elevation Model Korkeusmalli 2m (Digital Terrain Model - Finland) |
| Description |
Elevation model 2 m is depicting the elevation of the ground surface in relation to sea Level with grid size 2 m x 2 m. The dataset is based on laser scanning data, with a density of at least 0.5 points per square metre. The product is available with different coverage throughout the whole country but not as comprehensive. New data is added to the dataset continuously. Elevation model 10 m is available as a version that covers the whole of Finland. The height values are in accordance with the system N2000. Elevation model 2 m is the most accurate elevation model of Finland which covers extensive areas. Approximately 40,000 square kilometres are added into the model every year. Elevation model 2 m is derived from laser scanning data, with a minimum point density of 0.5 kilometres per square metre.
The Elevation model 2 m is produced in two quality classes:
class I with elevation accuracy of 0.3 m (on average) and class II with elevation accuracy between 0.3-1 m. |
