National spatial polyline dataset representing river, canal, and surface water transfer waterbodies managed across England under Cycle 2 of the EU Water Framework Directive (WFD). Derived as a subset of the Environment Agency's Detailed River Network (DRN), it maps centrelines of natural rivers as well as canals and surface water transfer routes (classified as artificial rivers via the WB_CAT attribute) and links to WFD monitoring status using unique waterbody IDs (WB_ID). |
